At Midwest Thermal Drones, we combine advanced thermal imaging, 200× zoom capability, and FAA‑licensed flight expertise to locate what matters most — whether that’s a missing pet, lost livestock, or a legally taken downed deer.

Our drone platform is built for real‑world Midwest conditions, including rain, timber, rolling hills, and tall crops. You’ll watch the search live on our 24‑inch viewing monitor, and once the target is located, we provide precise GPS coordinates you can capture on your phone.

Note: Thermals are best with overcast, after a rain, or 2 hours after sunset until sunrise.

🦌Deer Recovery (Downed‑Game Locating)

We offer ethical, professional thermal drone searches to help hunters locate legally taken downed deer. Our role is to locate a carcass, not to aid in hunting.

What We Do

Locate deer that have been legally shot and are believed to be dead
Use thermal imaging and optical zoom to search large areas efficiently
Provide GPS coordinates and visual confirmation
Operate with no weapons, no dogs, and no pursuit of live deer
Maintain full compliance with state wildlife regulations

What We Do NOT Do

We do not assist in hunting, pursuing, or driving live deer
We do not dispatch wounded deer
We do not enter property without permission
We do not use drones to track, chase, or harass wildlife

If a deer is found alive, the hunter must follow all state laws regarding pursuit and recovery.
